This is a trip of great variety; an exposed rugged coastline with some incredible beaches and views out across the Small Isles, alongside sheltered waters of an inland sea loch surrounded by ancient woodlands. Add to this a dramatic castle with plenty of wildlife and you have the ingredients for a great day out.

On Sping Tides allow more than 1 hour either side of low water to avoid the North Channel drying out, would suggest nearer 3 hours.
