This headland is the most westerly point on the Scottish mainland, with an impressive lighthouse at it’s end. Starting at Salen and finishing at Ardtoe allows the entire peninsula to be paddled in all its variety. The route is usually paddled over two or three days. There are some great campsites and the shuttle to finish is minimal.
