A longish crossing over to a very significant landmark, known as ‘Paddy’s Milestone. Ailsa Craig is the remains of a plug of rock that sat deep within an ancient volcano. It provides impressive cliffs, a lighthouse, plenty of history and is one of the biggest gannet colonies in the world.
