This is it, ‘The End’, and it certainly feels close to the end when you are being tossed about in the froth below the lighthouse! The Butt of Lewis is one of the windiest places in Great Britain and is also one of Scotland’s major landmarks. On the right day it is a unique feeling to paddle around and enjoy its ‘wildness’.
