The Mainland of Orkneys west coast provides a committing day out of endless cliffs, caves and wildlife. Along with this it passes the famous Neolithic settlement of Skara Brae and finishes with a Viking settlement and chapel at the Brough of Birsay. In combining stunning coastal scenery, commitment and solitude; alongside the visible evidence of an ancient and rich history; this trip perhaps brings together everything the Orkney’s are renowned for.
