Compared to some of the other headlands on the west coast, Rubha Coigeach is comparatively small. Some say that ‘All the best things come in small packages’, and this is certainly true of this journey. It has intricate sandstone cliffs, stunning views to the Hebrides and unique Assynt mountains, plenty of wildlife and a real sense of remoteness. Add to this some tidal movement and exposure to any swell or weather and it provides a great paddle.
