To sit in a sea kayak looking at thousands of gannets perched on cliffs with the same amount circling in the sky above, whilst being deafened by the noise they make, is a unique experience. With Scotland having nearly two-thirds of the world’s northern-gannet population to visit one of the main colonies is a must for any bird loving sea kayaker.
